Whether you want to introduce your young child to his/her first recreational activity or sport, or just help your child become even more skilled, or just improve overall fitness. Work one-on-one or in a small group with a skills coach to increase accuracy, speed, agility, coordination, power, and/or other sport specific goals. This is the program for all ages and abilities.
"All in One" will appeal to athletes who are striving to compete on various competitive levels such as middle, high or college level sports. Participants may just want to get an overall education of fitness and wellness as it correlates to sports and being an athlete. The plan is to incorporate before-hand, sports-specific training thru fun and engaging activities.
In order to reach specific levels of skill development. There are several key components that need to be addressed. The demonstration and practice of the new skill will be illustrated by the coach and or leader to best suit the individual, skill and situation.
There are four parts to a skill that will be addressed :
1. Instructing of a skill
2. Demonstrating of a skill
3. Applying of a skill
4. Confirming of a skill
Then this must be followed up with two categories of Practice:
A. Types of Practice
1. Fixed practice
2. Massed practice
3. Variable practice
4. Distributed practice
B. Methods of Practice
1. Whole method
2. Part method
3. Whole-part-whole method
